CaribLit Fiction Editing Workshop - A Retrospective

Writing for the T&T Guardian's Sunday Arts supplement, Shivanee Ramlochan reflects on the recently concluded, inaugural CaribLit fiction editing workshop, held in Georgetown, Guyana. Led by our Managing Editor Jeremy Poynting and Johnny Temple of Akashic Books, the workshop was hosted by CaribLit, the NGC Bocas Lit Fest, and Commonwealth Writers, with additional support from the British Council and CODE Org.

'Independent publishing, both editors stressed, is an extremely intimate affair, and demands personal integrity from those who run its often relentlessly tough engine rooms,' she writes.

You can check out pictures from the workshop at the Bocas Lit Fest Facebook page.
