Garfield Ellis

Garfield Ellis is a two-time James Michener Fellow to the Caribbean Writers Institute (1992, 1993), two-time winner of the Una Marson Prize for Adult Literature (1997, 2000) and the Canute A. Brodhurst Prize for Short Fiction (2000, 2005), and also won the 1990 Heinemann/Lifestyle Short Story Competition. He is the author of Flaming Hearts and Other Stories, Wake Rasta and Other Stories, Such As I Have, and For Nothing at All. Ellis lives and works in Jamaica.
