Short biography
Ifeona Fulani is the author of Seasons of Dust (1997) and Archipelagos of Sound: Transnational Caribbeanities, Women and Music. She has also written a children’s story, Visitors, and a screenplay based on a novel by James Baldwin, On Beale Street.
She has had short stories published in the Beacon’s Best anthology series, in Small Axe, and in Black Renaissance/Renaissance Noir.
Ifeona Fulani has taught fiction workshops in the US, the UK and France and she currently teaches in the Writing and Global Cultures concentrations in the Liberal Studies Program at New York University.
