This is a beautiful novel, woven so neatly between multiple characters perspectives, to allow us as the reader to feel fully immersed in the story, and for us to feel the pain of the event and hardship.
Such a beautiful, powerful, yet painful read that I would highly recommend for any lovers of historical fiction.
