His father’s hard head and other tales

Written by Shivanee Ramlochan for T&T Guardian on Sunday, June 12, 2016

Shivanee Ramlochan recently reviewed Colin Robinson's You Have You Father Hard Head for the T&T Guardian's Sunday Arts section:

In a shame-rich society, You Have You Father Hard Head shakes out all the dirty linens of not only one life, but a conglomeration of sinners, bad-johns and would-be saints. The best poems of this collection do holy, dirty work, commingling the two in baptismal bath-water. Robinson has given us rich currency here, a platform from which to thank our crosses and kiss our latex whips.
