Last Sunday's issue of Trinidad & Tobago Newsday carries a fine review of Doe Songs by Danielle Boodoo-Fortune, winner of the Poetry Award of this year's Bocas Lit Fest. It is now on the short list with Dionne Brand's Theory and Kevin Browne's High Mas for the major Bocas award. The review is written by Jennifer Rahim, poet and novelist who won last year's Bocas Literary grand award.
