The latest issue of BIM is now out and features a number of Peepal Tree authors.
The journal has an in memoriam section dedicated to George Lamming, including the poems "Memory" by Esther Phillips and "For George Lamming" by John Robert Lee.
Anthony Bogue's essay "Syvla Wynter: Constructing Radical Caribbean Thought" explores Wynters' work "within a radical anti-colonial Caribbean intellectual tradition". Philip Nanton's essay "Caribbean Literary Epistemology as Frontier" explores the work of Kamau Brathwaite and Derek Walcott.
Velma Pollard contributes the story "An Interlude: Candomble", while Kendel Hippolyte contributes the poem "Own". Shara McCallum's poem "No Ruined Stone" and Mervyn Morris' poem "Dream Time" are also included.
