Colin Robinson: Doing the work of memory

Robinson, 58, the author of the poetry collection You Have You Father Hard Head, is one of the few openly gay writers in the region.

Peepal Tree poets celebrate the life and work of Kamau Brathwaite for #40NightsofTheVoice

To mark the sad passing of Kamau Brathwaite, one of the Caribbean's most esteemed poets, a number of high profile writers have taken to YouTube as part of #40NightsofTheVoice to record themselves reading his work. 40 Nights of the Voice is a joyous celebration of Kamau's work and life.

Kaie Kellough explains the reasons behind the virtual programme in the video below. He is joined by a number of Peepal Tree poets and friends. New videos are being added daily.
