The Caribbean Writer has announced the Prize Winners for its Volume 33 edition, including our very own Cyril Dabydeen.

Peepal Tree author Marvin Thompson joins outstanding international poets on the shortlist of new writing for this year’s Manchester Writing Competition – the UK’s biggest prize for unpublished work.
The two six-strong shortlists include, among others, the former Young People’s Laureate for London, a previous Poet in Residence at the Wordsworth Trust and a journalist from The Guardian newspaper.
